Chris Clement lives in Columbia, South Carolina. He'd much rather be in his home state of New Hampshire, but thems the breaks. He works at the South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, where he is an archaeological consultant. Chris first visited Tobago in 1991 when he conducted an archaeological survey of Fort King George, an 18th and 19th century fort overlooking the capital town of Scarborough. Since that first visit, he has revisited the island on numerous occasions. During 1992-1993 he lived on Tobago for more than nine months conducting his dissertation research. A Tour of Historic Tobago is one result of that research. Chris received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 1995. |
