The School Psychology Program in the College of Arts & Science at the University of South Carolina is fully approved by the American Psychological Association (APA)*, the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) through a partnership with the National Council on Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC). It was the third School Psychology Graduate Program in the United States to receive APA accreditation (1974). The last APA site visit was in October 2003. The next one will be in 2008.
