Preston Seminars

Darwin's Descendants -- Preston Seminars on the Evolutionary Record

Descriptions: A series of presentations loosely related to Darwinian themes. The public is invited to attend any one or the whole series of seminars. Students who live at Preston have the additional option to take the entire series of seminars for credit (UNIV 290X, 1 credit-hour). Other students interested in this option should contact Ken Perkins or Alfred Nordmann.

The seminars will last for one hour (including discussion). Our conversations with the presenter can continue during dinner at the Preston Dining Hall. (Students who are taking the seminar-series for credit will meet 30 minutes before each scheduled presentation).

A first informal and informational session takes place on Tuesday, January 12th, at 5pm in the Preston Seminar Room. For the further content of the seminar series, see the Darwin Across the Disciplines calendar.
