Each summer the University of South Carolina offers study abroad programs in France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, and Mexico. You can earn up to six hours of credit as you take courses in language, culture, and civilization. The program includes a homestay.

Semester- or Year-Long Programs

  • The University of South Carolina currently sponsors semester- and/or yearlong study abroad programs in France, Germany, and Japan. Housing and course options vary. Individual programs can put you in touch with past and current participants.
  • There are many non-USC programs available as well, all of which offer credit transferable to USC. Information on these programs is available from Study Abroad, located in the Career Center, on the 6th floor of the BA Building.
